Manya Narang is a singer, composer, performer, music producer and sound engineer. Born to shine and spread smiles through her voice and music.
She has been singing since the age of four, has given several public performances and was amongst the top finalists of Indian Idol Season 9.

She has shared stage with legendary singers like Sonu Nigam, Salim-Sulaiman, Anu Malik, Lakhwinder Wadali, Kamal Khan. She has performed in more than 50 countries and at venues like The Wembley and O2 Arena.

In her studio, Manya relies on a pair of EVE Audio SC208 studio monitors.

Manuel Knigge is an audio engineer, producer, and musician based in Berlin, Germany. His studio is located in a bunker from WW2 and consequently called the "Audio Bunker".

In the "Audio Bunker" Manuel uses SC3070 as main monitors. It took him couple of weeks to get used to the speakers because they sounded different to the speakers he had before.
But the more Manuel listened to the SC3070 and the more he learned how they work the more he learned to love them. Today Manuel sums up that he feels he doesn’t need as much time as before to create depth to his mixes.

What does it take to transform a studio from stereo into surround sound?

The editor from Pro Tools Expert describes in detail the different steps and considerations to make when transforming a studio from stereo into surround sound format.

All different aspects are highlighted such as necessary components and interface reconfiguration, monitor installation, monitor placement, and calibration of the studio monitors is addressed.

This is explained in an easily understandable way using the example of the EVE Audio SC3070 studio monitors.

On the YouTube channel "Les secrets du son" (The secrets of sound) our desktop loudspeaker SC203 was closely scrutinised. The result is a fantastic SC203 video report with the following great statements:

Sound:
"When it comes to sound, I've been extremely surprised by these speakers. [...] They [...] sound very very good. [...] Their sound quality blew me away, even at very soft volume."

Use:
"This is not a very expensive purchase, I recommend them much more than mixing with headphones. [...] They have a tremendous amount of features and great versatility for your application."

DSP:
"The loudspeakers use an internal DSP which allows you to control loads of extremely convenient settings."

Connectivity:
"Aside of being a monitoring speaker with internal DSP it's also a D/A converter, which provides a large choice of different inputs. [...] In the case of a really portable setup you may use the SC203s as a sound card [...], which allows you to go without a sound card in case you need an extremely compact and extremely portable setup. You take your speakers and a USB cable, and you connect them directly to your laptop."

The Finish Riffi magazine has tested our SC3070. The editors were surprised by the sound SC3070 provided because it was much bigger than one would expect from a speaker of that size. And this is not meant in terms of sound pressure level but in terms of served frequency range from low to high end.

DSP:
"Adjusting the speakers to room is convenient. Equalization goes in half dB steps and it’s easy to copy settings to the other speaker."

Midrange:
"Midrange is well separated, and everything sounds full bodied but not too crowded."

Tweeter:
"High frequencies sound clear but smooth. The tweeter does not sound harsh at all and is well-mannered."
